Was pointed to the right one by a rep on the ASUS forum and it's working already. Windows 10 21H2 (current feature pack update) Has anyone solved this issue and gotten the Realtek Audio Control to install? Would like to be able to configure my audio jacks again! There does not seem to be any updated drivers for newer audio chips on the Realtek website. Ok so i wanted to download Realtek Audio Control because i had it before reinstalling windows, now when i try and download it i get this error code: 0x803fb005. (MB-Intel-2xx-3xx-4xx-5xx-6xx-amp-AMD-3xx-4xx-5xx-6xx) Error code: 0x803fb005 when i try to download Realtek Audio Control. I followed this link on the ASUS forums to get this set of drivers: I however, can confirm that my onboard audio has been properly installed with the following entry in the device manager under Sound, video and game controllers: I have read online that the app reportedly will not install if the proper Realtek drivers aren't loaded. ** Restarting does not help, nor purging the Windows Store app itself as suggested by googling the error code - other apps download and install properly from the Windows Store You can wait a bit and try again or restart your device. Reporting this problem will help us understand it better. The Windows Store is throwing an error on install that says: This is the link to the Realtek app on the Windows Store So apparently, the Realtek HD Audio manager that used to be a pretty decent app (managing multiple audio jacks) has been deprecated and moved to the Windows Store, where I can't even get it to install.
